Mayor Wright’s Updates on the City of Seaside - We welcomed Seaside Mayor Steve Wright as our guest speaker for his State of the City talk. He reflected on
Seaside’s 125th anniversary last year and recognized Seaside Rotarian and former City Attorney Mark Winstanley for inspiring his involvement in local politics. Mayor
Wright highlighted exciting upcoming projects, including subsidized housing developments, infrastructure improvements, and urban renewal initiatives—all signs of
Seaside’s continued growth. We appreciate his leadership and insights on the city's future.
Rotary Foundation Recognition for Our Club - District Governor Jeannine Murrell visited our club to present a special banner from The Rotary Foundation in
recognition of our 2023-24 Annual Fund giving. Out of 36,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide, our club achieved remarkable distinctions:
Top Three Highest in Per Capita Annual Giving in our district (one of only 1,520 clubs).
Every Rotarian, Every Year Club (one of just 3,800 clubs worldwide).
100% Foundation Giving Club (one of only 4,600 clubs worldwide).
