Bob Moberg
At our special club meeting on December 5th, we celebrated Bob Moberg’s 50th anniversary as a Seaside Rotarian.
He was born and raised in Astoria, Oregon, where he learned the fishing trade at the age of 14. He was a commercial gill net fisherman in
Astoria and Bristol Bay, Alaska, where he earned the money to pay his college tuition.
Bob graduated from Willamette University in 1969 and Willamette Law School in 1972 and served in the National Guard from 1969 to
1975. Before he retired, Bob had practiced law in Seaside since 1974 with Seaside Attorneys. He was the Seaside Municipal Judge for 35
years. He has been married to his wife, Kathy Moberg, for over 40 years. They have three daughters. Bob and his family have been long-
time members of the Seaside Catholic Church community.
